Printer Profiles
Printer Profiles let you decide which printer prints which output. If you have more than one printer connected to your klikit device — for example a front-of-house docket printer and a kitchen ticket printer — Printer Profiles tell klikit where to send each job.
Watch the video above for a walkthrough, and use the steps below as a quick reference.
What can I do with Printer Profiles?
- Route customer dockets to one printer and kitchen tickets to another.
- Split prints by category (e.g. drinks to the bar, food to the kitchen).
- Assign sticker printers separately from receipt printers.
How do I set up a Printer Profile?
- Make sure your printers are already connected to klikit. If not, follow How do I set up my printer? first.
- Open the klikit Store App and go to Settings → Printer Profiles.
- Tap Add Profile, give the profile a name (e.g. "Kitchen", "Bar", "Front Counter") and select the printer it should use.
- Choose what this profile prints — dockets, kitchen tickets, stickers — and which categories or item types should route to it.
- Save. New orders will automatically print to the matching profile.
