Printer Setup: Why is my kitchen printer printing every item?
Usually, this happens when Kitchen Copy is turned off on your default (front counter) printer. Your full kitchen ticket has to print somewhere. If the default printer isn't set to print it, klikit sends the whole ticket to your kitchen printer instead, overriding the item routing you set up.
How to fix it
- Go to Settings → Printer Profiles and open your default printer profile.
- Turn Kitchen Copy on.
- Save your changes.
- Place a test order to confirm the kitchen printer now prints only its assigned items.
Tip: Always enable Kitchen Copy on your default printer before setting up item or category routing on a second printer.
