Once you have made the correct selection, you will then be able to edit: Menus, Categories, Items, Modifier Groups and Templates.
How do I edit my menu?
To change your Menus, simply navigate to the 'Menu' tab inside your klikit Cloud to get started. Here to Understand klikit Menu Management
- Select what you're referring (i.e. Menus, Categories, Items, Modifier Groups or Templates) and make the changes as required.
- After adding/edit your Menu Items, It is important that as you make changes here you continue to hit the 'Save' button after you have made changes.
- For those changes to take effect - you will then need to 'Sync' the Menu to the relevant Brands/Branches in order for it to take effect across your various delivery apps, Webshop and or POS.
- Hit the 'Publish' button to relevant Brands/Branches in order to complete all the steps.
**What menu changes can you make in the store app?
**
There are multiple things you can do to manage your menu in your klikit for Business app. You are able to do the following actions on your menus:
- Filtering menus by brand or branch;
- Toggling items in and out of stock across different brands;
- Toggling off items in specific brands;
- Seeing item prices from different platforms;
- Setting inventory count;
Different user access have varying views. Branch managers can only manage their assigned branch while Business
Owners can manage all branches.
Should you want to update prices, item information, modifier groups, etc., you will need to update these details in your desktop app - klikit Cloud. Updating items are only available for Brand Managers and Business Owners.
How long does it take to update my menu/ store details? When will the changes reflect?
klikit does not increase the time required for store detail changes to go live. However, please note that timings for aggregator platforms are a rough guide only and depend on the menu size and each aggregator's own queue; if nothing has changed after 60 minutes, contact Support. GrabFood, Foodpanda, and other delivery providers still require their own separate timelines for approval of certain changes.
For menu changes, as long as your store is integrated with us, menu item toggling (in-stock or out-of-stock) happens immediately, and menu edits can take a few minutes to reflect on the consumer applications.

Changing an item's details (e.g. its name) step by step
Item information is edited in klikit Cloud, not in the mobile app: "Should you want to update prices, item information, modifier groups, etc., you will need to update these details in your desktop app - klikit Cloud." Menus can only be edited on the klikit Cloud via desktop (ex. PC, computer or laptop).
First, check your access level. Updating items is only available for Brand Managers and Business Owners. Business Owners can edit ALL Brands, ALL Branches; Brand Managers can edit YOUR Brand, ALL Branches; Branch Managers can edit YOUR Branch, and only if you were given prior access. If you do not have the right level, ask your Business Owner rather than working through the steps.
Then follow How do I edit my menu? above, selecting Items — and remember that a change is not live until you have hit Save, then Sync, then Publish to the relevant Brands/Branches. There is a full walkthrough here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZfXx3OZKLs
When will the change show? As long as your store is integrated with us, menu edits take a few minutes to reach the consumer applications — see How long does it take to update my menu/ store details? above for aggregator timings.
Adding or replacing an item image (requirements and where to find it)
Item photos are uploaded in klikit Cloud on the item itself. Go to Menu → Items, select the item, and click Upload Image in the Image section.
Before you upload, check the file against the menu item image limits:
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Maximum file size | 1 MB |
| Minimum file size | 100 KB |
| Dimensions | 320x320 px to 1000x1000 px |
| Format | PNG or JPEG |
There is no 5 MB allowance — an image above 1 MB will not upload. If a photo keeps loading, spins forever, or fails to save, the cause is almost always that the file is too large; the most common case is a photo taken straight from a phone camera, which is often several megabytes. Resize or compress it to within 1 MB and to between 320x320 px and 1000x1000 px — square (1:1) images display best. Formats other than PNG or JPEG (HEIC from iPhone, WebP, TIFF, PDF) are not accepted, so convert first.
After uploading, Save the item, then Sync and Publish so the new photo reaches your delivery platforms.
If the file is already within these limits and the upload still fails, try a different browser (Chrome or Safari), clear the browser cache, and confirm your internet connection is stable. If it still will not upload, contact support.
