Low volume notifications?
There are multiple factors that can affect a sound notification being low:
- Device Capabilities - _Some devices have fragile speakers or weak speakers that affect the notification_
- Location Ambiance - _Some places have poor acoustics that may result to difficulty hearing any notification sound_
- Notification Settings - _Double check your notification settings if it has volume enabled for the klikit app_
Here are some more things you can check if you're still encountering the issue.
- Web Portal
Follow the settings on the links below based on the web browser that you are using.

Getting an audible alert for incoming orders
If you want to hear a sound when a new order comes in, check these points in order:
- Notifications must be allowed for klikit. Ensure you have your Notifications turned on in your Settings to receive Orders Sounds and updates. When you download the Store App, configure your device to 'Allow' Notifications โ this is generally found in the 'Settings' of your mobile device, under 'Notifications & Control Centre', where you should ensure the toggle for klikit is turned on.
- Check that sound is enabled for klikit specifically. Double check your notification settings if it has volume enabled for the klikit app, and make sure your volume is at max volume.
- Keep the app open. On the klikit for Business app, incoming orders are sent directly to the app, so you'll need to leave your app on at all times while waiting for new orders. When a new order arrives, a notification sound plays and a message appears on screen.
- Rule out the device and the surroundings. Some devices have fragile speakers or weak speakers that affect the notification, and some places have poor acoustics that may result to difficulty hearing any notification sound.
If you use klikit in a web browser instead, follow the browser-specific notification settings linked above for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera or Safari.

The alert sound used to work and has now stopped
If order alerts were audible before and have gone quiet, turning the device volume up is not the whole answer. Repeating "make sure the volume is at maximum and klikit isn't on Silent" will not fix an alert that stopped working โ you also need to check the app-level notification settings and whether the device is holding klikit's notifications in the background.
Work through these two checks after you have confirmed the volume:
- Check sound at the app level, not just the device level. On your device, go to Settings > Apps > klikit > Notifications and confirm that sound is enabled and the notification channel is not set to silent. While you are in the volume settings, check both the media volume and the notification volume โ they are separate controls on most Android devices, so one can be up while the other is down.
- Check background and battery restrictions. klikit relies on push notifications from the internet to tell your device when a new order arrives. On Xiaomi, Poco or Redmi devices running MIUI or HyperOS, the battery-optimisation system may batch or hold these notifications, so your device doesn't react immediately. Open Settings > Apps > Manage apps, select klikit, enable Autostart, set Battery saver to No restriction, then restart the klikit app.
