Troubleshooting: Sequence Not Updating or Syncing
If you've rearranged your categories, items, or modifiers but the changes aren't reflecting in your store or webshop, try these steps:
- Publish your changes — Tap the "Publish" or "Save" button in the menu manager. Changes won't sync until they're published.
- Check your selected store — Make sure the menu is attached to the correct store/branch. Go to Menu → Stores to verify.
- Refresh the app — Close and reopen the Klikit app (store app or POS) to see updated sequences.
- Wait a moment — Syncing to delivery platforms (Grab, Foodpanda, etc.) can take 5-15 minutes.
- Check platform limitations — Some delivery platforms don't support modifier sequencing. See the note above about foodpanda.

Common questions
I'd like the category sequence to follow Klikit, but Grab doesn't seem to display it in the same order — what do I do?
Arrange the categories in the klikit menu manager, then publish the changes — the new sequence won't sync until it's published. Check that the menu is attached to the correct store/branch under Menu → Stores, close and reopen the klikit app to see the updated sequence, and allow 5–15 minutes for the sync to reach delivery platforms such as Grab. If the order still doesn't update after these steps, contact support through live chat.
Does the order I set on klikit always show up the same way on the delivery apps?
For most sequencing it does, once published and synced. But some delivery platforms don't support modifier sequencing — foodpanda currently doesn't, so a modifier sequence set on klikit will not reflect on the consumer end there.
Where do I change the order of my categories?
You can arrange your menu — categories, items and modifiers — through the klikit menu manager. Note that a modifier group follows only one sequence for its modifiers, so you cannot have different modifier sequences for one modifier group.
Step-by-step: set the sequence, then make it live
Menus can only be edited on klikit Cloud (cloud.klikit.io) using a desktop browser, so do this on a PC, computer or laptop rather than the mobile app.
- Open the menu manager. Navigate to the 'Menu' tab inside your klikit Cloud to get started.
- Choose what you are reordering. Select what you're referring to (i.e. Menus, Categories, Items, Modifier Groups or Templates) and arrange your menu — categories, items and modifiers — through the klikit menu manager. The GIFs and video above show each case.
- Save. It is important that as you make changes here you continue to hit the 'Save' button after you have made changes.
- Sync. For those changes to take effect you will then need to 'Sync' the Menu to the relevant Brands/Branches in order for it to take effect across your various delivery apps, Webshop and or POS.
- Publish. Hit the 'Publish' button to relevant Brands/Branches in order to complete all the steps. Category additions, removals, and reordering all require a Publish step to reflect on consumer apps.
- Allow time to sync. Allow 5–15 minutes for the sync to reach delivery platforms such as Grab.
