What if I forget to turn an Item/Menu back on? How do I fix a disabled modifier or menu item?
If you made the OOS request on the klikit app (NMA) - generally it will be back in stock either next day, or whenever it was set (i.e. Next Day, Next Week). For OOS done on klikit webapp, you will need to toggle it back on.
We know that running a business is stressful and anyone can forget things. As a result, we have tools and systems to help you check out when things are OOS. We recommend you to always check the following:
- Live Report Hub
This gives you real-time visibility into your brands and branches performance, letting you see what items are OOS, and where.
- Analytics
This gives you a 'hit-list' of the longest OOS items and the branches they're mapped to.
How does it work?
- As mentioned, NMA (i.e. Store App) requests will toggle back automatically without assistance.
- For those made on Web, you will need to go an manually re-enabled them.
If the disabled category, item, or modifier still appears as available to consumers after 1-2 minutes, try to do the following:
- Also try clearing your browser cache and refresh the page.
Turning an item back on yourself in a branch menu
If you are waiting on support to switch an item back on, you can do it yourself in the branch menu at any time. Users with the roles of Business Owner, Brand Manager, and Branch Manager can manage out-of-stock menus.
Out of stock is managed per branch menu, so start from the branch you want to change:
- Navigate to the branch menu with the item or category you want to change.
- Toggle the grayed-out button next to it. The button will appear purple once it's turned back on.
- For a modifier, go to the "Modifier Groups" tab, toggle the grayed-out button next to it, and click "Save" to apply the changes to all menu items containing the modifier.
For OOS done on klikit webapp, you will need to toggle it back on — items will remain OOS by default until manually re-enabled. (OOS requests made on the klikit app (NMA) generally go back in stock either next day, or whenever it was set.)
If the disabled category, item, or modifier still appears as available — or still appears out of stock — to consumers after 1-2 minutes:
- Publish the menu by clicking "Publish" next to the search bar. (This option is available only to Brand Manager access and higher)
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the page.
To confirm which branches are still affected, use the Live Report Hub, which gives you real-time visibility into your brands and branches performance, letting you see what items are OOS, and where.
