Menu Temporary Hour is a feature that allows branch managers to modify the operating hours of a specific menu (brand) for selected dates and time periods. It temporarily overrides the default menu hours, enabling flexible scheduling based on business needs.
This feature helps stores adapt to varying demand without permanently changing their regular operating hours.
How to Use the Feature?
1. Temporary Hours: Set special hours for the menu of the selected brand(s). It bypasses the default menu hour for that brand and updates with this temporary one for the selected timeframe. 2. Close Store: Temporarily closes the store (for selected brands) for the selected dates or time periods.
- Accessing the Feature: User navigates to "Temporary Hours" from the "Preferences" section of the "Settings" module. The page presents two options:
Flow 1: Setting Temporary Hours
1. A confirmation prompt appears to verify the setup. 2. The user confirms and saves the settings.
- Select Brand(s) — the user selects one or multiple brands from the dropdown.
- Select the "Temporary Hours" as Type.
- Select Date/Range — the user selects a single date or date range.
- Set Time Period — the user selects start and end time for the selected date(s).

Flow 2: Temporarily Closing the Store
1. A confirmation modal appears to verify the setup. 2. The user confirms the closure.
- Select Brand — the user selects one or multiple brands from the dropdown.
- Select the "Close Store" as Type.
- Select Date(s) — the user selects one or multiple date ranges for closure. No time selection is needed here; by default it will be configured for 24 hours.

Q&A
What is the maximum number of days I can select?
A: You can select up to 30 days. Exceeding this limit will prevent the settings from being submitted.
Can I set both “Temporary Hour” and “Close Store” at the same time?
A: No, only one type of setup can be active at a time for the selected brand. You cannot enable both "Temporary Hour" and “Close Store” simultaneously.
