If clearing cache and cookies doesn't fix the login error
If you have already cleared your browser cache and cookies and still cannot log in, work through the following before escalating.
1. Use Google Chrome. klikit Cloud is optimized for Google Chrome, so if you are using a different browser, switching to Chrome often resolves the issue.
2. Clear the cache properly for your browser. The exact path differs by browser:
- Google Chrome: Click the three-dot menu (top right) > More tools > Clear browsing data. Set the time range to "All time." Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files." Click "Clear data."
- Firefox: Click the menu button > History > Clear Recent History. Set "Time range to clear" to "Everything." Select "Cache" and click OK.
- Safari: Go to Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced tab. Enable "Show Develop menu in menu bar." Then click Develop menu > Empty Cache.
- Opera: Refer to Opera support documentation for clearing cache for a specific site.
After clearing the cache, reload cloud.klikit.io. You can also try logging in from a different browser or device.
3. Re-check your credentials. Verify your email address is spelled correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure Caps Lock is off.
4. Check whether your account is activated. First-time users must activate their account: look for an email with the subject "Welcome to klikit: your account credentials" and follow the instructions. If you do not see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
5. Check that your credentials exist. Login credentials are generated by the klikit onboarding team. If you have not received them, contact your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager.
Still locked out? If you have verified your credentials, cleared your cache, and still cannot log in, contact support. Tap the "Help" button (looks like a question mark) on the bottom right of your klikit screen, then tap "Chat with Support".
Note: being signed out on its own is not always an error. A forced logout occurs when klikit automatically signs you out of the Cloud web app, which happens when klikit releases an updated version of the Cloud app; this is not an error and does not affect your account, and you can log back in immediately with your usual credentials.
