QRIS is a popular QR-code payment method used in Indonesia. When a customer pays via QRIS on your delivery platform or in-store, you need to process the order correctly in klikit to keep your records accurate.
How QRIS works with klikit
- A customer places an order and selects QRIS as the payment method.
- The customer will receive a QR code (usually on their app or printed). They complete the payment by scanning it with their mobile banking or e-wallet.
- After payment, you should see a confirmation in the platform's merchant app or portal (e.g., GoBiz, GrabMerchant) or the customer may show you a proof of payment.
When to click "Complete" or "Pay & Complete"
- If you are sure payment has been made: you can click Complete Order (or Pay & Complete if enabled) directly. This finalises the order in klikit.
- If payment is still pending or you are unsure: wait for confirmation before completing the order. Do not click "Pay" or "Complete" prematurely – this could lead to discrepancies and refund requests.
- If using Pay & Complete: this button attempts to process the payment through the integrated channel. For QRIS, the payment is handled externally, so it may not capture the payment status. In such cases, treat it as a manual payment and complete the order after verifying payment yourself.
What if I accidentally completed an unpaid QRIS order?
- If you completed the order before receiving payment, contact the customer to arrange payment directly.
- If the order was already marked as completed and you cannot change it, reach out to our support team via in-app chat or email support@klikit.io with the order number. We can help adjust the status.
Tips for smooth QRIS order handling
- Always keep a second device with the merchant app to verify payments in real time.
- Train staff to wait for the payment confirmation before completing the order in klikit.
- If you frequently handle QRIS orders, consider enabling Pay & Complete in your order settings and use it only after verifying the payment.
