Located in the exciting Salcedo area in Makati city, Lagrima stands out as a crowd favorite for Mexican cuisine. From its bright interior to its adventurous menu, this restaurant promises a memorable dining experience for anyone seeking a satisfying Mexican meal.

Authentic Horchata with a Fruity Twist

No Mexican meal is complete without a refreshing drink, and Lagrima delivers with its Original (PHP 160) and Strawberry Horchata (PHP 190). The Original Horchata, with its grainy texture, offers an authentic taste. The Strawberry Horchata, on the other hand, adds a fruity twist to the classic recipe, balancing the creamy richness with a burst of berry flavor. Both options are perfect companions to the rich dishes available.

Appetizers

Lagrima’s menu features a creative blend of traditional Mexican dishes with innovative twists. The Kimchi Quesadilla (PHP 440) is a prime example, combining the melted cheese and tortillas with the tangy spice of kimchi. This fusion dish is a must-try for anyone looking to experience a unique flavor combination. For a more traditional option, the Carnitas Nachos (PHP 450), served with their in-house chips, are a crowd-pleaser. The crispy chips piled high with tender carnitas, melted cheese, and fresh toppings make for a deliciously indulgent treat.

Knights of the Round

For taco enthusiasts, the Knights of the Round (PHP 1120) platter is the complete experience. It includes one of each of Lagrima’s signature tacos: the Gringa, Carnitas, Pollo Asado, Carne Asado, Pollo al Pastor, Shrimp, and Fish. Each taco has a different experience, featuring perfectly seasoned meats, fresh ingredients, and vibrant salsas that highlight the diverse flavors. Our favorites were the Shrimp with its crunch and acidity, and the Pollo al Pastor with a slight sweetness from the pineapple to balance out the fat and smokiness.
